
Welcome to IAA Events
IAA-Events Ltd (“IAA-E”) was formed to oversee the organisation of fund-raising events on behalf of good causes in the third sector.
The next such event will be the Leasing & Asset Finance Christmas Charity Lunch and will take place at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED on 13th December 2025. The event will commence at 12:00 p.m. with a drinks reception in the Waterloo Room followed by lunch (curated by the 2019 MasterChef champion Irini Tzortzoglou) in the Nash Room. During the afternoon tickets will be sold for a variety of raffle prizes and there will also be an auction of items donated by the industry. A comedian or raconteur will provide entertainment and interest. The event will conclude at 5:00 p.m. All proceeds (net of third-party expenses) in 2025 will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support.

- Application
- These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all events (“the Event”) organised by IAA-Events Limited (“the Facilitator”) to the attendee (“the Attendee”) and to the payment of this invoice. No other terms and conditions shall apply to t the Event or to this invoice unless agreed upon in writing between the Facilitator and the Attendee.
- Interpretation
- A “business day” means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday.
- The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect their interpretation.
- Words imparting the singular number shall include the plural and vice-versa.
- Fees
- The booking fees (“Fees”) for the Event are set out in the invoice sent by the Facilitator to the Attendee.
- The Fees are exclusive of any applicable VAT and other taxes or levies which are imposed or charged by any competent authority.
- The Facilitator operates on a commercial not-for-profit basis organising events on behalf of worthwhile causes but to cover incidental operating costs it shall retain an amount not exceeding 1% of the Fees.
- Payment
- The Attendee shall pay the Fees due under this invoice within 10 Business Days of the date of the applicable invoice.
- Time for payment is of the essence of the contract between the Facilitator and the Attendee.
- If the Attendee fails to make payment within the period in sub-Clause 4.1, the Facilitator shall charge the Attendee interest at the rate of 10% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from time to time on the amount outstanding until payment is received in full.
- If the Attendee fails to make payment within the period in sub-Clause 4.1, the Facilitator shall have the right to suspend the attendance of the Attendee at the Event until payment is received in full.
- All payments must be made in British Pounds Sterling unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Facilitator and the Attendee.
- Liability and Indemnity
- The Facilitator will not by reason of any representation, implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law or under these Terms and Conditions, be liable for any loss of profit or any indirect, special or consequential loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims (whether caused by the Facilitator’s employees, agents or otherwise) in connection with the Event or the performance of any of its other obligations under these Terms and Conditions or by the attendance of the Attendee at the Event.
- The Facilitator shall not be liable to the Attendee or be deemed to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of the Facilitator’s obligations if such delay or failure is due to any cause beyond the Facilitator’s reasonable control.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude the Facilitator’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other matters for which it would be unlawful to exclude or limit liability.
- Force Majeure
- Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question.
- Communications
- All notices under these Terms and Conditions shall be in writing and signed by, or on behalf of, the party giving notice (or a duly authorised officer of that party).
- Notices shall be deemed to have been duly given:
when sent, if transmitted by email;
on the second business day following mailing, if mailed by national ordinary mail; or
when delivered, if delivered by courier or other messenger (including registered mail) during the normal business hours of the recipient. - All notices under these Terms and Conditions shall be addressed to the most recent address, email address notified to the other party.
- No Waiver
- No waiver by the Facilitator of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Attendee shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
- No failure or delay on the part of either the Facilitator or the Attendee to exercise any right, power or privilege under these Terms and Conditions shall operate as a waiver of, nor shall any single or partial exercise of any such right, power or privilege preclude, any other or further exercise of any other right, power or privilege.
- Severance
- In the event that one or more of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that / those provisions shall be deemed severed from the remainder of these Terms and Conditions (which shall remain valid and enforceable).
- Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
- Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Facilitator and the Attendee relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Legitimate Interest Photography & Media Clause
As part of our legitimate interest in promoting and documenting this charity event, we may capture photographs and video footage during the event. These images may include attendees and may be used in marketing materials, social media, websites, and other promotional content to further the charitable mission of the organization.We take care to respect the rights and privacy of all attendees.
